You need to do things that make you happy

This seems like a no brainer. However, it actually is very easy for us to skip out on things that bring us joy because things in life get away, working too much, taking care of other people around us, et cetera. When you actively carve out the time to do things that make you happy, you are then able to access a different state of mind, which new ideas and ways of thinking that are authentic to you will pop up because you’re in a happy state. You’re not bogged down by day-to-day anxieties, worries that stem from fear. I’m sorry, but this really touches my heart, day to day anxieties, where it stems from my state of mind. That’s so important and some things that make me happy include long walks, hand-writing letters, playing with dogs, reading, watching good, healthy movies, all sorts of things and doing art and those things that make me happy and coming to you every night even though sometimes that’s a challenge. It helps me in doing something that makes me happy and helps me follow my passion, gives me a purpose in my life and God helps you use that purpose for something much better than what I have here. When I look at all these different factors and realize that by leaving 2020 behind and all of those things and believe me, yesterday ended the year with a caput, but today, sometimes you have to pick yourself up. I’m not talking to anybody by the bootstraps here. Pick yourself up and treat yourself with gentleness, kindness, and love and it will make you much happier. And when you’re doing something that does make you happy you can’t help but be great at it.
